ABOUT USANT
History
The University of Saint Anthony, a non-sectarian and non-profit educational institution, has been a beacon of affordable, quality education for 77 years. Founded on August 18, 1947, and guided by the philosophy of Pietas, Integritas, and Sapientia, the university has consistently offered transformative opportunities for students and their families.
In 2022, the university welcomed a new president following the passing of his father, who led the institution for three decades. With solid support from the board of trustees, the new president and his dedicated team of administrators, deans, principals, faculty, and staff have continued advancing the university's community service mission through revolutionary innovations.
Recent advancements have driven a 44.3% surge in enrollment over the past four years. The university has invested in expanding its facilities, constructing new buildings, renovating existing ones, and upgrading amenities such as air-conditioned classrooms, sports facilities, and laboratories. The institution has also improved its transportation infrastructure with new buses and enhanced student amenities, including playgrounds and bathrooms.
The university has achieved higher board examination pass rates due to its focus on faculty development, curriculum updates, and training initiatives. In addition, the emphasis on quality assurance and pursuit of the highest accreditation standards has earned national and international recognition for students and faculty.
The University of Saint Anthony's transformative role in education and community development is a source of inspiration and hope for all stakeholders. It has fostered partnerships with leading academic institutions in the Philippines and has hosted notable guest speakers, including two sitting Supreme Court justices, at its last three graduations.
The university's commitment to the community includes expanding its philanthropic efforts, such as donating playgrounds and school chairs to public schools in need and upholding its long-standing tradition of distributing food items to thousands of underserved families during the Christmas season.
Additionally, the university has introduced new events like Christmas concerts, pageants, and sports activities to enrich the lives of students, their families, and the community. This holistic approach has boosted the university's social media presence, with multiple videos exceeding 600,000 views and a rapidly growing online following.
Through these comprehensive initiatives, the University of Saint Anthony continues to inspire hope and solidify its role as a transformative force in education and community development.
